LONG DISTANCE CYCLING TIPS

REGISTRATION closing date has been extended till the 23rd of May so hurry and get your friends to join you in this exciting expedition!!

NOTE: if your registration is successful, you will receive a personalised email one week before the pre-event briefing.

MONOTINE BIKES will be selling the safety cyclists' bikes at a discounted price at the Bike Rally event ground

a SECOND start point has been added to the previous route!! Participants can now choose to start at either East Coast (original start point)or NTU (newly added) by simply indicating on the registration form. Limited spaces are available for the 2nd start point so register early to avoid any disappointment!!

Pre-event preparation:
1) Attend the pre-event briefing to obtain your unique Bike Rally 2008 event singlet.
2) Pre-arrange a meeting place with your friends so you may cycle together.
3) Get enough rest the night before and the few nights before that. You wouldn't want to fall asleep on the trail, would you?
4) Get enough water the day before so you do not suffer the risks of dehydration while cycling.

On the event day:
1) Have a light breakfast before you start off on your cycling so fatigue doesn't become a risk for you. Don't overfill your stomach or the rigorous exercise may force your food out the wrong way.
2) Check that you have brought along your photo identification.
3) Put on your Bike Rally 2008 event singlet and set off for your starting point!!

During the event:
Enjoy yourself as you ride through the city and the suburban areas of Singapore with your friends, old and new alike!!
